Claims & Damage Process

We'd rather hear from you than have you stay unhappy. Here's exactly how to report an issue and what happens next.

Effective: July 29, 2026

Tell Us As Soon As You Can

If something was damaged or something is missing, contact us as soon as you notice it, ideally before the crew leaves. Damage noted while the crew is still on site is the fastest and easiest to resolve.

Claims should be reported to us within 30 days of your move date so we can investigate while the details are still fresh.

How to Report

Call us or send an email with the following:

  • Your name, move date, and both addresses
  • A description of the item and what happened
  • Clear photos of the damage, and of the item as a whole
  • Where relevant, photos of the packaging or crate

What Happens Next

  • We acknowledge every claim within 2 business days.
  • We review the report with the crew that performed your move.
  • We may ask for additional photos, a repair estimate, or an inspection.
  • We'll come back to you with a resolution — repair, replacement, or settlement — based on the coverage that applies to your move.

What Isn't Covered

Some situations fall outside what we can be responsible for. These include the contents of boxes you packed yourself where the container shows no external damage, pre-existing wear or damage, items we advised could not be moved safely, mechanical or electronic failure with no external damage, and the categories of items listed in our Moving Terms & Conditions that we do not transport.
