Can I pack some things myself?
Absolutely. Many customers pack clothes and books themselves and have us handle the kitchen, glassware, TVs, and fragile items. You only pay for what we pack.
When do you pack — the same day as the move?
For smaller homes, packing and moving happen the same day. For larger homes we usually pack the day before so move day starts fast.
How long does packing take?
Roughly half a day for a one-bedroom and a full day or more for a three-bedroom house, depending on how much is in the kitchen and garage — those two rooms take the longest in almost every home. We'll give you a realistic range with your estimate.
What about the TV, mirrors and artwork?
Those get purpose-made boxes and extra padding rather than being wrapped in a blanket and hoped for. Tell us what you have when you book so the crew brings the right sizes.
Are packing materials included?
We bring everything needed to pack your home properly — boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap and tape. What's covered in your quote depends on the size of the job, and we'll go through it with you before anything gets packed.
