Crew size & deposit authorization.

Who shows up on move day, when we add movers to a job, how that time is billed, and what you're agreeing to when you pay your deposit.

1. We set the crew

Flex Movers Las Vegas decides how many movers, trucks, and pieces of equipment are assigned to your job. We base that on the walkthrough or inventory you give us, the access at both addresses, the distance, and your time window.

The crew size shown on your estimate is our planned crew for a job that matches the information we were given. It is a starting point, not a cap.

2. Adding movers during your move

Flex Movers may add additional workers to your job at any point, without prior approval, when the job requires it. This includes dispatching extra movers to your address mid-move.

We add labor when conditions on site don't match the plan. The most common reasons:

  • There is more to move than what was described when the estimate was built.
  • Access is harder than expected — stairs, long carries, no elevator access, blocked loading zones, or narrow entries.
  • A building, HOA, or property manager has imposed an elevator reservation or move-out window we have to finish inside.
  • Items are heavier, larger, or more fragile than described and need more hands to move safely.
  • Weather, traffic, or heat makes it unsafe to run the job with the original crew.
  • A crew member is injured, becomes ill, or has to leave the job.
  • Finishing the same day would otherwise not be possible with the crew on site.

We will tell you on site when we add movers. We don't need your approval first, and the move will not be paused waiting for one.

3. Why we do it this way

Stopping a job halfway to negotiate crew size is how moves run past midnight, how elevator windows get missed, and how people get hurt carrying things that need four hands instead of two. Being able to add labor immediately is what lets us finish your move in one day, on the same date we promised.

4. How additional labor is billed

Additional movers are billed at our standard hourly rate for each added mover, starting from the time they begin work on your job and ending when the job is complete.

  • Added labor is billed in the same increments as the rest of your job.
  • Travel time for additional movers is billed under the same travel policy that applies to the original crew.
  • Every added mover and their hours appear as a separate line on your final invoice.
  • Adding movers does not change your hourly rate for the original crew.

Adding movers often lowers the total: more hands means fewer total hours on the clock. It is not a penalty and it is not a surcharge.

Current rates are on your written estimate. If you want them confirmed before booking, call (702) 900-2309.

5. Your estimate is an estimate

Unless your paperwork explicitly says the price is binding, your estimate is non-binding. Final charges reflect the actual labor, hours, materials, and equipment used on your move — including any movers added under Section 2.

The single biggest cause of a final price landing above an estimate is an inventory or access detail that wasn't shared with us up front. Tell us everything during the walkthrough and the estimate will hold.

6. Paying your deposit means you accept these terms

When you pay a booking deposit to Flex Movers Las Vegas, you agree to all of our terms and policies in full. Payment of the deposit is your acceptance. No separate signature is required.

That acceptance covers every policy published on this site at the time you pay, including:

Deposits may be taken by card, over the phone, by payment link, or in person. All of those count as payment for the purpose of this section.

7. Read before you pay

Read every policy linked above before you send a deposit. That's the point at which the terms take effect, and paying is how you tell us you're comfortable with them.

If anything is unclear, call us before paying and we'll walk you through it line by line. We would rather spend ten minutes on the phone than have a surprise on move day.

8. If you don't agree

If you don't want us adding movers without checking with you first, tell us before you pay your deposit. We'll either note the restriction on your job or let you know we can't take the booking under that condition. We'd rather be straight with you up front than argue about it in your driveway.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version that applies to your move is the version published on the date your deposit was paid. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.

This policy sits alongside our other published policies and does not replace them. Where this policy and another Flex Movers policy cover the same subject, the more specific provision applies. Nothing here removes any right you have under applicable Nevada or federal household goods regulations.
